Home Economics Trip to Italy
Ciao! Transitions Years are on their Italian culinary tour. The Home Economics department staff and a group of TYs are currently on a 'hands-on' learning experience in Sorrento. They've seen coffee roasting, honey and marmalade making and had gnocchi and tiramisu master baker workshops. It's not all a foodie tour as they have managed to squeeze in visits to cultural sites, including Pompeii. They have also made their own pizza and ice cream and visited a cheese farm.
