Clongowes Orchestra visit Holy Family
On Tuesday 26th April, 72 members of the Clongowes Wood College Orchestra and their conductor Philip Thomas arrived in Holy Family for what was truly a magical concert and collaboration with our school choir and music classes.
The Clongowes Orchestra performed four pieces from their repertoire including 'Star Wars' and 'The Dance of the Tumblers' by Rimsky Korsakov. Our school choir and orchestra performed 'Óró Sé Do Bheatha abhaile' and 'Ripples in the Rockpools' by Shaun Davey.
The highlight of the afternoon followed with a joint performance of 'Adiemus' by Karl Jenkins.
