Strike day - Thursday 27th
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
The JMB has informed the Board of Management that all ASTI members have been directed to take strike action on Thursday October 27th .
Pickets will be placed on all schools where ASTI members are employed on that day. If the strike goes ahead as planned the HFSS Board of Management will not be in a position to discharge its responsibilities with regard to the care of students in its charge.
The HFSS Board of Management is therefore requesting you not to send your daughter to school on Thursday, October 27th.
Consequently, the parent-teacher meeting for 6th years, scheduled in our calendar for Thursday, October 27th is postponed until further notice.
There will be no evening study in HFSS on this date.
The HFSS Board of Management regrets that this course of action is necessary. The HFSS Board of Management has no wish to interrupt the education of students in this school.
