2022 saw the start of a new HFSS Junior camogie team with students coming from a variety of clubs in the surrounding area. The team hit the ground running with their enthusiasm and eagerness to represent their school in the Dublin league. They fought gallantly, and found themselves in a Shield Quarter Final having faced many an opposition including Coláiste Pobail Setanta, Kingswood College, and Holy Family Rathcoole, despite being such a young team.
Supported by The Camogie Association while establishing strong links with Sarsfields GAA and Camogie Club, the school are eager to enter an U14 team into the league where the majority of our Junior team will be eligible to play.
This panel shows great promise for the future at club, school and county level.
